Prehnite is a beautiful pale green semi precious gemstone also known as cape emerald in some parts of the world and it makes a stunning addition to our collection of Beauty in the Wild rings. It starts off life as a silicate material composed from aluminium silicate and basic calcium that lines the cavities of rocks or can even be found in stalactites and stalagmites before being cut into beautiful gems. In Great Britain it can be found in Scotland, in Europe it can be found in France, Germany and Italy and in America it has been found New Jersey.
Prehnite is a stone that is associated with unconditional love and is said to link the head and heart influencing the wearer to do their best. Prehnite is used by crystal healers to treat illnesses related to the thymus gland, lungs, kidneys and bladder. During meditation prehnite is believed to aid higher levels of vision by stimulating the third eye chakra. The stone is known for its properties related to developing the wearers spiritual growth by connecting them with divine energy and the archangel Raphael.
