Chupi Jewellery was founded in 2010 by me, Chupi Sweetman.
My dream was to create beautiful pieces that would last a lifetime, made in Ireland by the most talented craftspeople in the world. From the very beginning, I believed that Ireland can be home to a luxury jewellery brand with global reach, a brand that celebrates our heritage and our creativity.
I started Chupi in the years after the recession, when so many creative jobs were being lost and the art of fine making felt in danger of disappearing. It was important to me that we keep those skills alive, that we prove an Irish jewellery brand could thrive by designing and making everything here at home.
Made in Ireland, Always
Every piece at Chupi Jewellery begins in our Dublin studio, where our incredible team of Irish goldsmiths design and handcraft each creation. Their skill and passion are at the heart of everything we do. Making in Ireland is not the easy path, but it is the right one. We are proud to keep traditional goldsmithing alive and to nurture new talent so that this craft continues for generations to come.
Over the years, we have faced huge challenges, from the economic uncertainty of our early days to navigating the pandemic and the changing global climate. Through it all, we have stayed true to our values: to make in Ireland, to keep craftsmanship here, and to create pieces that mean something.
Sustainable, Honest, and Kind
At Chupi, sustainability is not a trend. It is a responsibility. Every piece of our luxury jewellery is crafted from recycled solid gold and set with responsibly sourced natural or lab-grown diamonds. We were one of the first Irish jewellery brands to offer lab-grown diamonds, giving our customers a beautiful, ethical alternative without compromise.
We believe that every choice we make, from sourcing materials to how we design and package our jewellery, should reflect our love for the planet and our respect for the people who help create it.
