Meet the latest couple in the Chupi Engagement Series : Kelli and Sakkarin. Kelli tells about her engagement to Sakkarin with a very special Chupi Ring that her uncle Barry (a Caster at Chupi) had a part in making.

We met in Streets Ahead dance school in 2009. We were great friends first and then I found my soulmate on 01/11/2011.

It was my 28th birthday on 18th of November and we were just going to get a takeaway due to Covid-19. I was opening presents when my fur baby Lily came in with the little pink box tied to her collar!

Sakkarin had planned to propose in Las Vegas in June and when that was cancelled he decided to do it in Disneyland, and when that was cancelled said he couldn’t wait any longer! It was the biggest surprise, I couldn’t believe it!

Knowing all of the thought Sakkarin put into picking this ring and wanting it to be a surprise and knowing Barry had a small part in it is just amazing!

Sakkarin always knew I was a fan of Chupi jewellery for many reasons: It’s an Irish brand, it’s so unique and my uncle Barry Grogan is a caster for Chupi and to know he would have a part in making my ring was so special.

Sakkarin approached Barry at a family wedding in 2019 to ask for his help on the engagement ring without me knowing. I love something a bit different and I always loved the idea of a grey diamond.

When I look at my ring I think of happiness, love and just pure excitement. Knowing all the thought Sakkarin put into picking this ring and wanting it to be a surprise and knowing Barry had a small part in it is just amazing!

I’m quite a simple girl so we’re hoping to get married the end of 2021, the sooner the better. We are just so happy. Thank you Chupi you make dreams come true.
